All i can find is that it could hurt when you cum, have some bleed in cum (did not btw) and/or slow down the recovery.
with cauterization you're almost certainly fine.. if you had cut and tie it would raise odds of failure
but it will raise your odds of poor healing (watch for enlarged balls)
