im n0 expert but it seems when i jog to much or like do to much strenuous activity other than lifting it can hurt gains

They can be pretty filling though. I used mutant mass over a year ago, got about 1k calories from it a day and I was bigger than I am now. But I'm not fucking about at uni anymore :(

it doesn't if you have a proper diet. very good for you
the issue is that people eat just enough to sustain through the day and not burn the protein for their lifting.
if you jog, that's extra energy burnt, which sometimes comes from nutrients that would have otherwise gone to muscle repair
jogging + lifting requires a very heavy diet if you're going ham.
sometimes I have a hard time eating enough just when I'm lifting :/
