Where do you guys rank Jerry Seinfeld on the all-time comedian list? Is he the GOAT?
What about Larry David's comedic brilliance? Curb Your Enthusiasm is a great series too.
For me Jerry Seinfeld's stand up is above mediocre but nowhere near goat. I acknowledge he's from different era when everything had to be very PC and I give him kudos for finding own angle in observatory comedy. LD's comedic style is similar and I hold him on a par with Seinfeld, or little bit above. Seeing how similar Curb is to Seinfeld LD probably did the heavy lifting in Seinfeld's writing.
