It really is a hassle to do normal stuff and keep it nice. I just used Fructis 2-in1 shampoo and conditioner. Can't tell you how many times I accidentally ate some or burned it smoking in the car lol. Real unique smell that burnt hair is. Totally feel ya, had a boss threaten to fire me or cut it once and had to wear a man bun double pony-tail for a while to keep it under my hard hat as a roofer. Said it was an OSHA violation.

Long hair must be "securely fastened" and out of the way of your work space/piece/machinery so it's technically a violation but roofing isn't that bad. Get your hair caught in a lathe and it's night night forever.
I should've taken the 30 hour maritime course while it was discounted.
