The sun appears small due to the distance you said.
Yet when it moves a further distance away it does not appear to get smaller

If I kick a soccer ball across the field high it appears smaller as it flies and lands on the other side of the field
Now other than the distance, size and the fact the sun obv doesn't land, whats the difference?

why try to compare a soccer ball only meters away with the sun (32 miles in circumference and 3000 miles away)?

Still dodging my proposed experiment to test your "law of convergence".

Science works by testing, not just asserting. Until you are willing to test your proposed law, it means jack squat.

The sun is just higher up but still moving further away from our range of vision the same laws should apply

A soccer ball appears the size of a marble when I belt it accross the field due to perspective similar to the passage in your image

The sun is also moving away yet we dont see it get smaller like the image I showed

Ps: like I asked card, what reference do you have outside of youtube and image hosting sites to back up that different plane theory you proposed

I'm waiting for him to respond and confirm that the test is valid, as well as give me his predicting to the results based on his model.

I'm not going to waste my time doing a test that he will make up a reason to dismiss, so I'd like to get the methodology locked down before actually posting the results.
