How about FPS games and MMORPG's? :/

a lot of people use shift as a modifier in mmorpgs to give themselves more potential hotkeys (i.e. Shift+1, Shift+2, Shift+spacebar, etc.) and while it doesn't have as solid position as ctrl and spacebar do in fps games (crouch and jump respectively) it's used fairly often afaik for things like sprint

also a kiddy game that even uses this site... Maplestory..

Last time I saw this thread it just hit 200 pages.
