Yeah I prefer blended. I did get a bottle of Highland Park Viking Pride for Xmas. But I haven’t opened it.

My wife got it cause it said Viking and I like scotch along with a few Viking themed meads.

I may ask store near me to let me know when Aviation comes in.
I haven't been drinking as much as before but would still like a bottle of Aviation gin.

Which talisker?

Storm is good. But I'd still probably go for the Laphroaig over it.

There's some decent blends out there. The dewars Japanese cask is surprisingly good. I just had some Shackleton which is also pretty good, both especially for the price.

Blue label is good but way over priced. I'd rather have a beer than black label.

Blended whisky always feels wrong to me. Like wearing a quartz wristwatch or a fake designer shirt. It's like I don't know what I'm tasting.

That said I will only use blended if I'm mixing it of course, and whisky ice tea is the cocktail of the gods.

Whyte and McKay or vat 69 have done me well.
