Ie. bezel removed so the bulb provides an omni-dir source of light like a candle

The bulb is about 2mm wide and shines with about 20 to 40 lumens

On a 2m diameter table (1000 times wider) and a round room 6 m diameter wide (3000 times wider) the bulb still provided light to the entire surface
The light on the opposite end of the surface was dimmer but there none the less

If the sun was only 32 miles across and 3000 miles above us then it would look much, much smaller when the day ended than when it was high noon.

Which calculates the earth's diameter to be 247.2 times wider than the sun

The sun is said to produce 1000s of lumens of light
