The sad thing is that even with card gone, the thread won't die because chivas is active.

I loved it when they claimed that the stars don't move throughout the year. It's like they don't know amateurs can see the ISS and satellites with sufficiently powerful telescopes.

Even with my 650/130 telescope I am able to see 61 Cygni moving throughout the years. The movement isn't just limited to planets and satellites; everything moves.

who claimed the stars don't move?
we see each night the stars move.
we see the same constellations every single night, moving.

I love it when people record an insect zipping past the lens and claim it is the ISS...

Explain the movements of 61 Cygni.

Edit: since I know you have never heard about 61 Cygni anyway, let me help you. 61 Cygni is a double star that is near enough to Earth for us to notice its movements compared to the more distant stars.

This awesome gif (posted on Wikipedia) shows steps of 1 year intervals, where you can see that 61 Cygni is moving against the "background" of other stars.

Of course, it's entirely possible that these two stars are indeed just attached to the dome, and that something else explains this peculiar movement. Feel free to explain this to us if that's the case. :)

So according to you they are stuck to the dome and do move
What stops them from bumping into each other
