No matter how far away down the hall you go, the door handles at the far end never sink into the floor, silly. Neither does the sun with the horizon.

so then you understand perspective and convergence and realize the sun is not "setting" but it is still in the sky, just moving away on a flat plane (surface)?

finally we are getting through to you...

No, fuckwit. The sun can't converge with the horizon on a flat Earth because it's above it. What it SHOULD do is disappear from sight while still in the sky.

@card as well

We discused this already chivas

Even if it did "converge" with the horizon due to the laws of persp that still doesn't explain why it appears the same size from noon to sunset, when (according to you) its moving out of our range of vision

Card's persp pic above shows objects getting smaller the further away you go

You have stated that the sun appears small due to perspective and distance, which we all agree with
The prob is now its moving further out of our range of vision yet not "appearing any smaller"
