Even if it did "converge" with the horizon due to the laws of persp that still doesn't explain why it appears the same size from noon to sunset, when (according to you) its moving out of our range of vision
Card's persp pic above shows objects getting smaller the further away you go
You have stated that the sun appears small due to perspective and distance, which we all agree with
The prob is now its moving further out of our range of vision yet not "appearing any smaller"
