Why does God's son dying absolve ALL sin for all eternity?
Somebody made a bad deal here.
Who did this business valuation?
The early jewish tradition was to make sacrifices to absolve you of sins. The greater the sacrifice the longer you would be purified. After the temples in Jereusalem were captured jews couldn't perform their sacrifices at the temple and so they couldnt be absolved. So they needed a "super sacrifice" to cleanse them forever so the temple sacrifices would stop mattering. So a subset of jews claimed their guy was sacrificed and was god incarnate so thats an infinitely valuable sacrifice and they get off the hook forever .
