If it was me, I would've told her straight out that the celeb looks better than her, no hesitation. If she raged then I wouldn't have given a shit, because I would have told her "if it's that big of a deal to you, then work on looking better than her".


Either she rages or otherwise, the next day she would probably work on prettying herself up to look better for you. If she would've did that then, she's worth being with in my eyes because she gives a shit about your opinion.


Now if she would've still pulled that comparison shit the next day as you've stated...then guess what....she's not worth being with, seeing that she's one of those typical egotistical bitches (excuse my french) who aren't worth YOUR time.

If you really think the celeb is prettier than her, then your decision is what you want in how you handle that.

She was over the line in pushing it, and even further over the line "showing him how it feels". She should take a sweet thing that he did and be happy that he cared enough to protect her feelings, or genuinely think she's prettier. Whatever helps her sleep at night. Pulling it at all says she's not worth being with, as her insecurities are going to cause constant problems in the relationship.

However, I have to disagree that she should work to make herself prettier just because you think someone else is prettier...
She SHOULD care about your opinion, and obviously basic hygiene, but you've been happy with her before, and the way she looks probably helps her be with you the way you want. For example, your sporty girlfriend is probably going to prefer sneakers. It's not the way she looks or her trying to change your perception of her that is the problem.

The problem isn't her rage, it's her insecurity to begin with. Sounds like an obsessive crazy bitch that would have been dramatic no matter what.
