These were regular Joe Shmoe Kansas police officers. Not swat officers or hostage negotiators. Normal police officers don’t use their weapons, in most cases.

What you want every fucking cop to be trained to that extent? So everyone complains about officers ‘they get paid too much and don’t do anything’ so now they need to be trained to the highest level of law enforcement.

My town is about 1/4 the size of kansas with 1/100th the police budget. Last wrongful police shooting was 8 years ago when a known drug kingpin was reaching for a cellphone after a 15 minute standoff.
