He quit a government job that he couldn't get fired from, according to him. He has a terrible work ethic, constantly complaining and leaving work early or not showing up at all. He's a gardener that refused to work outside unless the weather was perfect to his standards.
Then he tried to get a better job, they didn't want him, so he tried to go back to his old job and they didn't want him back. Not much of a win.
Nah they treated him badly. Bad leadership = Bad environment = People quit.
Maybe there's a good reason to complain? There is bad work ethic, but there is bad leadership ethics too. One does not exclude the other. Good leadership gives positives when things go well, and of course lets people know if it doesn't work out, but with respect. Bad leadership just goes insane and blames everyone else while deflecting criticism from themselves. And then use foul language when firing people.
The win is freedom to choose a new direction in life. If i had been forced to work with some of the jobs and bosses i had for much longer than i did, i'd have jumped off the first and largest bridge i could find. Work is not meant to be like a war or a slavery.
Just the fact that the boss took the tone that she did, is proof to me she is not worth working for.
