but the balloon floats upward.....gravity is not working in this situation

So hey, you guys are saying that density pushes objects down, right? And people are denser than air, right?
Well, I saw two kids at the playground today on a seesaw, one or the other kept going up! So children are suddenly not affected by density?! Density disproven, gg no re. If density really pushed objects down, I wouldn't have seen kids going up.

Thanks, and please stop strawmanning everything.

explain how billions of pounds of sea water can stick to the surface of the earth, upside down near Australia's coastline, but it isn't strong enough to keep one helium balloon to stay on earths surface?
try and use logic when explaining the answer to me thanks

Due to air having higher density than the helium balloon, gravity's effect on air is stronger than on the balloon. Because of that, the balloon rises up.

Easy enough.
