Glenfiddich 12 is a good starter. Glenlivet is also good. My favorite non peated scotch is oban 14, though. Not quite as smooth as the other 2, but a lot more flavorful.

Pretty good… had to add a splash of water though. Went well with a project 40 cigar and a good view outside

It's not really strong and goes down easy. It's a good go to if you don't want to spend a lot. Glenlivet is okay.

I enjoy scotch, cigars and guns. Each of those respective communities have snobs who look down on people who don't spend boatloads of money on their hobby. You do you. If you like it, keep doing it.

Picked up a bottle of hibiki. Pretty good but not as smooth as expected.

Picked up a special release g lengrant 15 year. Pretty good. Snagged a few bottles of the dewars apple brandy cask. Also good, especially for the price. Their special cask releases have been pretty good, although the best was the Japanese one. That tasted almost like a single malt. The others still have that blended scotch flavor profile. The Japanese has it, but less so.

anyone got a recommend on a dark rum? i tried one in this spherical bottle but can’t remember the name. pretty sure it was mid tier in price but damn it was good
