Everything is explained in the Geocentric model, so you cant debunk it by claiming "I was only taught the Heliocentric Model so therefore it must be right."
That's why everyone fails when they really try to debunk it, and the debate falls into name calling, hair pulling and a general cat fight.
It's only when you really understand both models will you be able to figure out which one is correct, and you probably won't like the answer you find.
Its well known that the moon reflects the light from the sun
Viewing it through a telescope at various phases you can clearly see in the light being obstructed with a circular shadow
The geometric model was and archaic belief before man had the tools to actually observe space like the telescope
