i hadnt gotten anything new in a while, so i decided to pick something up. settled on a peated ardmore after shopping around a bit. its pretty good but not great. im noticing that theres a difference between peated scotch and smoky scotch. not all peated scotch is smoky and im not as big a fan if its just the peat and not the smoke.

i think im gonna go for the cragganmore that i was originally thinking of next.

I have lots of various rums, whiskeys and gins on hand and anytime I'm having more than two I always just find my way back to Canadian Club. What is wrong with me.

Cragganmore is great. Complex flavor, but also expensive af

Subjectivity I guess. While you may argue that something is crafted better than another product, ultimately the persons subjectivity will determine which is best from the preference standpoint. I would also agree with anyone who argued that Canadian Club is a subpar product from a crafting perspective.

I am a glutton and I can name very few things I don't like but for some reason when it comes to drinking I always return to a cheap rye, if there's no option for beer. I think Canadian Club is just good. I even enjoy Alberta Premium.

Someone has to drink those bottom shelf ryes and whiskeys.

I had it once in the past, I remember liking it. Kinda similar to oban. It's only 65, though, not so expensive.
