100 bucks on beater socks so i stop wearing my good wool ones for everyday shit.

Why 100, because free shipping and it costs a fortune to ship year so its actually worth hitting the threshold.

Wool socks are the best, I use my smartwools daily… once I tried a pair I never went back to regular socks

I destroy socks rapidly. Have yet to find a sock that lasts a year without holes.

Darntough being the strongest to date but too expensive to ruin all the time. I have a ton of handmade wool ones too but they're too warm for daily use.

I think its because we only wear boots here year round for the most part and they're always oversized so you can accommodate big socks and have room for warm air.

So I just buy a bunch of socks every year, put tons of holes in them, toss, repeat. Dickies, Denver Hanes, Nike, New Balance, wool, the results always the same.

You want a merino blend sock. Even in summer they are still good cause they regulate heat well. Last about 3 years with regular use
