i bet u can't see the ISS though or even a single satellite...

I can actually see both of them with a telescope and have done many times.
Satellites are pretty much impossible not to see in the outback at night, the darker it is the more you see.

This just made me think of growing up, we lived on a walnut ranch with trees in every direction, so there wasn't really a drop of light that got in. It's crazy to remember how many fucking stars there are when there's nothing keeping you from seeing them.

Sadly, even if we hadn't lost the ranch, some assholes sold a strip of land to the railroad about two miles west of us for a depot, which had so many lights that were on all night that it completely fucked up the sky. :(

I'm laughing at you, is your opinion based on popular opinion? Is your personality so fragile that you need to feel safe in a crowd, ahhh poor baby is rattled.....

How to use a bunch of words to say nothing, starring card_sultan.

I grew up in a town of 200, similar situation, but its pretty easy to get to a place without lights in australia.

That's not what he said, or was even remotely implying.

I know this is just a canned response that you vomit up because you want to feel like you're some clever iconoclast and everyone else is just a sheep who can't see the real truth, but uh... like, you need to save that shit for when it's actually a reply to what's being said.

He was just saying that he thinks that you're trolling and thinks that it's a pretty pointless troll attempt since no one else is really enjoying it. For the record, I'm sure that he's wrong and that you're a true believer, but like, it definitely has nothing to do with "You're wrong because your opinion is unpopular," no matter how much you wish it were so.

Not in the slightest, in fact i am a tism fan, which is about as far as you can get from being "desperate to fit in with popular opinion" as you can possibly get.
