Pretty hard to be racist when you grow up in a multicultural environment and have traveled extensively.

And I disagree that travel is for the wealthy or privileged, my first trip was straight after I graduated university, fresh debt and was broke the while time I studied, I gave up everything, saved every penny and left. Everyone can travel, some people just start walking with a tent and clothes, that's practically free
