To anyone who can do a decent amount of push-ups consecutively, correct form of course), you are awesome. when I was morbidly obese I couldn't do one. I was always jealous of those who could do it. After getting into shape etc. And I started doing it myself...Felt proud of myself. And I just really love push ups. I can't as much as I'd like...But I do think it's a damn quick way to determine how fit and disciplined one is. if I ordered digiorno at a store...And had it brought to my place...Is that dugiorno delivery?

If you've got 9 years of service in the Army, and are only an E-5 (Sergeant), you're not doing very well. Primary zone TIS requirements for promotion to E-5 are 36 months total, with TIG of 8 months as an E-4.

National Guard takes longer to promote, and I was eligible for promotion many times, I just didn't care to get e-6 because I was gonna get a commission instead.

Sure, because not wanting to achieve higher enlisted rank looks really good to the review board.

Edit: And the NG has similar promotion requirements regarding TIG/TIS. E-4 requires 24 months of total service, and E-5 requires 12 months TIS as an E-4. So 36 months there, too. The only difference is the TIG as E-4. Still an awful lot of time to only be an E-5.
