The WEF-witch and her plans to enslave Europe's internet users, with her ''age verification app'', to save the children from their parents incompetence.

The best thing I ever did was delete social media.

I would agree that people are addicted to it. For the most part is complete brain rot. I will admit that it can be used for good. Mainly instagram and tik tok.

I think it should be 18+ for users

This take is correct.
If parents won't take responsibility/protect their kids from it.
Regulation should probably step in.
Underdeveloped brains getting gassed up by the mentally ill/chronically online is not a good thing.
Social media is how they reproduce.

Government's job is not to play daddy.
You should not look to 'big daddy' government to solve your problems.

This problem rests solely on the parents.
If someone's child acts out or harms themself, it's the parents fault.

Stop dumping your children off at government run facilities (public school) and pretending they're being educated.
If a parent actually cared about their child, they'd communicate the dangers of social media.
They wouldn't look to strangers to tell their children this.

If this upsets you, then I hit the target and you need to go look in a mirror.

I shouldn't have to suffer because you're a fool. (generalization, not a direct accusation against any individual)

Yes, it is true that it isn’t the government’s job to play daddy. However, they could definitely put in some mandates for all companies. For instance, a mandate to make their apps not so addictive (targeted ads and suggestions, no age requirement, infinite content, bot-promoted propaganda, to name a few issues that currently go unchecked).

Until then, yes, it is the parents’ responsibility to protect their children. That’s why I made this thread, to highlight the dangers of today’s apps and the internet.

Accusing parents of not raising thier kids properly is something not one country on earth will do. Until this changes, we will continue to to have shitass parents rasing shitass children.

Spreading awareness of dangers is a good step.

How individuals decide to act on this is different.
Most people are apathetic towards problem solving. They'd rather someone else do it.
And to a degree in the US, we elect representatives to solve some of these societal problems.

The problem now is that people believe (in the US) that they live in a democracy when in fact we live in a Constitutional Republic.
So instead of the best interests of all being regarded when problem solving.
It's mob rule (democracy) and those who have the mob rule.

It's often too little too late before government regulations comes knocking on their door.
But they were so swept up in the mob frenzy that it felt right at the time.
As if they were making a difference, when in reality they were being corralled like cattle towards a predetermined solution.
