Edit into adding a quote doesn't notification the quoted person like a normal post does.
In addition,
If you edit a post for a quote and the person has already put it on read it should notify about the edit.
The technology is already there when you put threads on read from grey to another grey or whatever settings you're using. Seems easy to transfer that code for the notifications on edits.
