Simple. A gnostic atheist is denial of any or all gods. People generally refer to these as militant atheists, though militant atheists are not always gnostic atheists. It is a position I would consider to be foolish at best. Good luck proving there isn't a god.
I can understand your issue that this is semantical, but from my perspective it is a very important distinction. Atheism has been subverted to mean antireligious. Because the mere existence of atheism is a threat to organized religion, organized religion has spent the last few centuries demonizing the term. Most people think atheism means anti god, but it just means without god. The literal translation of atheist from Latin is simply without god. It isn't no god or anti god, just without god.
Agnosticism just means you don't know, or you can't know (or believe you can't know). It is not a statement about belief in any way, it is about knowledge. Saying one is agnostic is akin to saying nothing. Of course you don't know, noone knows. Anyone saying they know is a liar. Everyone who is reasonable is agnostic. Theist and atheist alike.
its atheist/antitheist
totally two different creatures

we got atheists arguing over what sub genre of atheist they are
because they keep losing arguments so they regroup. its really just a strategy to make things more confusing to baffle anyone in dialog ya its dishonest
