Just because you think the terminator is distinct seen from orbit doesn't make it so up close and personal.

Tilted axis explains the variations in amounts of sunlight seen. I'd love to hear how a flat Earth explains such variations, especially 24 hour daylight visible at the south pole in the southern hemisphere summer.
