what i always ask myself is: how much it would cost to get my own satellite there? i know there is plenty of nuclear agreements running around over the galaxy, what about my directv?

Been really busy lately. Had to deal with a move and stuff, settled in for a bit and took my telescope out tonight to see the moon, my viewing conditions atm of the planets isn't the best so i just hung outside for a while.
Thanks peeps for checking my thread ^^

Haven't been out as much as I have wanted, I went out and checked the moon out tonight.
Really like the way this one came out, I was playing around with my DSLR.

Been a while... Got around to some observing and some Registax for Saturn. This time of the year I'll be seeing Jupiter and stuff soon, as they were close to the sun making viewing impossible.
I'm thinking about upgrading telescopes and getting one with an equatorial mount that polar aligns with the earth's axis and uses it's motor to track an object and keep it in focus and in frame without moving. $$$
Here's some stuff.

Thanksgiving moon (Canadian thanksgiving yesterday)

Crater close up (going to start doing some more close ups on some craters)

Sorry for double post.. couldn't fit this third image in and i really wanted to post it.
Raw image of M42 orion nebula with no edits done to it. Man I could get so much better if i didn't have to manual track. I'm addicted to astrophotography but i don't have the right mount.
I can't get a long enough exposure without having to move the telescope manually :(

Awesome man, seems like a cool hobby, bust out the telescope and an ice cold beer. Good to go.
