i think about that scripture and the horrific things they are doing to children can weigh heavy on my heart

yeah these things can literally stop your heart and kill you with pure fear

The sun being blackened from volcanic ash.

The moon turning to blood is caused by Earth's atmosphere.

Stars falling from the sky are meteors.

The Heavens rolling up like a scroll could be intense storm clouds.


So in the context of natural disaster, ancient people's were very observant and where albe to somewhat assign a meaning to these complex scientific processes.
