Yes, I agree that is likely the case. I would best label it as malice because malice manifests almost infinitely but that still does not address the mechanism. I could be totally wrong making this inference but.. trying to "train or teach" a pedophile to not like children is probably just as unlikely as training a man to like fat women. I don't believe in any spirituality or religion so trying to explain such things ultimately shows all that we are and all the best and the worst, are byproducts of evolution.

It comes down to how do reasonable people like you and I do about it? Clearly there is a problem because Unit 731 was no joke. The autobiography of Carl Panzram also proves your point about how people commit evil willfully but again there is to me, a mechanisnic answer and that is where we have to look to help perpetrators and protect victims. I've come to realize that telling people they are doing wrong (which they are, I'm not denying there are a lot of weirdos in this topic), is ineffective and will drive us nuts. If you are really concerned about the actual threats, build a log as best you can with evidence and find ways to present it to police. That would probably be the most potent use of your time watching these people. And they need to be watched to some degree.. evil prevails when good men do nothing.

I won't stop there on my input either. People are coming out with all kinds of stories about their experience with abuse which I am pragmatically convinced are mostly true. Pair that with war crime and that is embodiment of evil. For some reason I am able to realize the horror in this and likely is the reader of these words. However if they do not, then that is clear their value system is drastically different. Furthermore, their value system is already outside ours because I can speculate it is my fatherly mechanisms that keeps me alert to these threats. Their willing to actually act shows that specific action in time and space is a fundamental property of the universe.

I'm studying biology but I am deeply into psychology as well. So I ask.. why does a pedophile like children? Not easy to even start trying to answer, first we have to get over the repulsiveness which I at least feel. Clearly they don't feel this way which again speaks to the complexity of the universe. I welcome anyone to continue this discussion because many people have suffered from abuse and are out there. There is evil yes, but there is also peace, justice and healing and those are possible as well.

That's uncalled for. Even if my method leads to a dead end like the guy I was first talking to, at least we are trying by generating a discussion.

And lets be real, everyone knows this is a major problem with the most innocent of victims. It makes people uncomfortable to talk about but needs to be addressed and the internet is a great way to spread information and build a coalition. And if that's not proof enough, take an hour to review this topic. I've seen enough questionable material to conclude their are predators lurking.

Telling me to stop this effort is pretty loserish. At least have an opinion or say nothing because stirring the point redirects the spotlight and that's the last thing this effort needs because the threat is real and so are victims.

Yea.. I tend to speak in terms of metaphysics more often than I realize and this isn't the first time someone has said that to me. Unless you tell me where I went wrong then its hard to know what made sense and what did not because everything I typed so far has a connection. Of course, maybe I'm just doing a terrible job making connections today.
