That's a blatant lie.

If you were given a test that means they could smell it, which means they would have gotten a K9 and found your weed. Even if they didn't find anything, you still would have been arrested for suspicion of DUI. If they couldn't smell it, then you wouldn't have been doing the tests in the first place.

Even if you aren't lying, it doesn't really matter. You still deserve to have your license taken away since you can't drive responsibly.
