Corkscrew Pasta is the same as a spring because they both have a helical coil

He was reported 10x for derogatory insults, try to keep up plz.

This was the post. You're basically saying you are going to report him because he is making strawman attacks. Strawman attacks are not inherently derogatory though. You cannot even differentiate between a strawman and an ad-hominem  (Hint: You meant to say ad-hominem). As I said, try to keep up!

Irony.

Because constant tension does not apply to all spring types. There are four main types of springs (which I already pointed out in this thread), and constant-tension is only one of those types, and does not apply to other types (compression, extension, and torsion). An actual constant-tension spring is generally a thin sheet metal that is wrapped around a cylinder, with one end attached to the cylinder, and the other end attached to a loading force.

This is an example of what a constant-tension spring looks like:

as i said before the shape is only a part of the definition, you know the one you posted, where it says it needs to be shaped like that AND have a desire to return to its shape when tension is applied.

just working off your definition, you know, the one you posted. but the whole thing, not just the parts i like.

also keep dodging surf's post little man. keep it up.

Man, this is fucking great. Card posts the actual definition of a spring here, then finally realizes he is wrong because he forgot to read after the "or" conjunction in the definition. Then, says he's going to report everyone for "strawman attacks", which he meant to say "ad-hominems".. but then continues to argue that strawman attacks ARE ad-hominems..
