Just purchased the Glenfiddich Experimental Fire and Cane. Not normally a big fan of Glenfiddich, but this is very different from their normal stuff. Lightly peated and then finished off in rum casks to give a sweetness. Not nearly as fruity as their normal stuff.

Pretty unique, I'd say it is worth a shot if you see it given that it is relatively cheap.....$50 maybe?

visited a distillery in upstate new york last week. only had bourbon and rye, but it was pretty decent for bourbon.

Laphroaig 10 year is an amazing bottle of single malt.. 50 bucks a bottle and it is HUGE with peat flavor... But DAMN the 21 year is electric.
