What's soul?

is that a trick question?

No. I genuinely wonder from perspective of Christianity what soul is

probably the same as any other religion or cultures perspective.
Your soul is the part of you that consists of your mind, character, thoughts, and feelings.
Many people believe that your soul continues existing after your body is dead.

Where does it go after you die?

i think it depends on how strong that individual soul is
they say its a stair way to heaven
and a highway to hell

And where is that soul before you are born?

i don't know. no one does. we aren't supposed to know what happens after death or what happened before birth.
to me personally i don't even think about it. the real test is here now in this life time.

Nothing like good old limited knowledge and lack of interest of finding out while preaching about it
