I thought about volunteering at the local animal shelter too but they didn't have any opening that was suitable for me. And with the people's party of Canada, they said they needed volunteers so I signed up but they never contacted me.

I volunteer at my local spca and animal shelters in the Hampton roads areas
I love animals, my sister did 10 years of college ( 8 + 2 years at a special vet school to finish )
I never had the chops for school, but I took what I learned from her and applied it to helping shelters
If Im not working, or relaxing at home, Im at the SPCA around the corner trying to find parents for all the beautiful souls we have living there

What did I fail to get?

You are essentially calling me special needs for donating and you imply that people who donate to charities are also special needs.
