put a thin layer of mayonnaise on bread instead of butter then toast it. that is also the best way possible to make grilled cheese

Sourdough is delicious.
I also love Brioche as a base for toasted sandwiches. Brioche with ham, cheese and avocado is SO good.

I used to get Day Fresh Garlic Sourdough Bread from someone who worked at one of the factories. I usually asked for the one with the most garlic in it. :D It is good with butter, and also to make a variety of sandwiches.
