I think the best and most intelligent compromize is somewhere between westerns and north euro countries.

Personally I live in Scotland, UK.

Best thing here is NHS I would think, but is great place to live, regardless. Apart from the cold ofc

But if serious about moving, mainland Europe (Germany mainly- imo) would be a good choice too

Germans r nice people as a whole. There are always exceptions ofc.

Found some nice houses in Germany. I need to be rather close to a airport because I literally fly out every morning and return at night. Krass where do you live in Germany?
