Well I just found out that she is for sure pregnant. One of the other guy's said that he would support the child with the mom. She said that she doesn't think it's mine anyway and that she thinks I should continue with my education...........
So now my only worry is her changing her mind.
i don't know the girl but she doesn't sounds like the greatest kind of person out there. she might be saying that the other guy will take care of it to take your mind off of it until it's long past the point where an abortion is an option and then suddenly figure out that it is yours and now the only option is to pay child support/stick with her. another bad scenario would be that the other guy could decide after abortion isn't an option or, more likely, after he's gotten a taste of parenting that he doesn't want to do it anymore and could bail. at that point the girl is likely going to try and find a replacement for the financial support and/or parenting responsibilities.
although it could be kinda awkward and it might offend her slightly i would advise getting a dna test asap to determine who's it is or get her to sign something/do something (you're probably way more knowledgeable in this area than i am) that removes your legal obligation towards the baby no matter whos it is (probably still follow this route if the dna test shows that it is yours and the other dude is still game to be the dad)
of course none of these situations might be the case but to be safe i would still suggest doing something like this. if you're worried about offending her you could always just lie and say that you just
have to know, for the sake of knowing, if you're the biological father or not and get her to take the dna test for that reason (offering to pay for it yourself may help things along in that scenario too)
