Its because they wanted to make it about race, not because they believed he was innocent. Atleast that's what I think.

When people are told and they believe they are automatically victims because of the color of their skin they will take every opportunity to try and use that to their advantage.

absolutely, there's no way you could have all the facts that were laid out and actually think he was innocent, unless you strictly wanted him to be innocent because of his race

It was all race bait online, tik tok, twitter.
There is not a single person that thinks he's innocent.
It's tribalism and sticking with theirs no matter what as said by supporters.
They're even using the jury; saying it wasn't fair even though the defense has to agree on the jury as well.
Racist this racist that, blah blah. Hootin' and hollerin.
No one takes it seriously anymore though, diminished returns kicking in after over use. On cooldown now.

Yeah I recall people being upset that there weren't any black people on the jury and that it was only whites, middle eastern, Hispanic and Asian. And it probably ended up that way because of failure to remain impartial and examine the facts.

And I agree, the word rascist has basically lost all meaning at this point because its just thrown around against anyone they disagree with.

Only logical reason i can truly think of. All jurors get ran through a series of questions and if they cannot be believed to remain impartial they are dismissed. Atleast to my level of understanding.

When I was hearing about this I was like why would an NBA star stab somebody we aren't the fucking NFL.

I think the name is why it grabbed so much attention early on.

I saw a couple other interviews of black males outside saying they'd never send a young brother to jail for anything.
Sometime in the near future we're gonna have to look at this with the big boy lens attached and accept some uncomfortable realities that a lot of us already know.
This isn't coded in any racist jumbo, it's that tribalism is taking over actual law.


UK has an interesting event going on right now too.
Been following it a bit.
