banks lose no money on mortgages that are already funded, they just gain less they could if a new mortgage was made. Banks only gain money interest, your escrow pays the insurance/taxes. its part of your pitia

67k though. What in the boomer price is that? Guess some areas really are significantly cheaper.

You can get a nice house for like 80-120k in the midwest.

4-6 bedrooms 2-3 baths, 2-3 car garage and 1- 2 acres of land in a nice area in the city.

If you see a house for 300k the locals freak out and say it’s insane all over their listing unless it’s some huge newly built ranch or on a private Lake with 30+ acres lol.

property taxes are usually high
