I think it all boils down to the mistranslations and personification of God. My take of God is our embodiment of the best possible choices. I like to think of everything in terms of a hierarchy where "God" is at the top and "Satan" at the bottom. It then makes sense that you can't "hide" from God because God in this context is simply all the things you know you can and should do. Modern day religion has the tendency to dictate the word of God as if he is a ruler. On the contrary, God and Satan are aspects of our ability to comprehend the complex and infinite world. I would be wary of anyone who speaks for God and the Bible to command others instead of applying it to their own life.

Ok but to me that doesn't make sence, it pretty much says I can do what ever I want good or bad as long when my time comes I repent and all is forgiven. I feel that would only really happen because of the place you would being instead of haven.
