Hey Return, how do you feel about whiskey stones? Haven't ever tried them before, but was considering getting them for my father, as he is one of those people who loads his glass up with ice to chill it down, but doesn't like to dilute too much.

Do they actually give a decent chill and not affect the flavoring?

im not sure, i havent actually used them myself, i prefer to drink room temp. but the theory sounds good. how well they chill would depend on what theyre made of/filled with and how cold the freezer you chill them in is.

I hallucinate off of regular whisky so don't ask me

I'm glad someone else has hallucinated from whisky. A very very old tallisker in high quantity once made me trip like I was on mushrooms...



Stones are essential for single malt, you should never put ice in that.
