Why can you see stars in Australia that you can't see in Canada, and vice versa? Wouldn't the entire "dome" be visible from anywhere on the Earth?

yes the dome (firmament) would be visible from anywhere on earth if not for the fact that it is transparent like crystal or glass

why can't you see the same stars anywhere on earth? if it where flat the whole sky would be visible to everyone not some people can see some stars well others in a different country can see others. example if i went outside and took a picture of the stars tonight from here in wisconsin then SenorNZ took a picture of the stars from new zealand the stars seen would be completely different.
