Have you ever been to Scotland? I was looking of taking a two week vacation over there with my brother and father. Probably fly in to Edinburgh, spend a few days there, and then make our way across the country hitting various distilleries/other attractions.

nope, never been, but would love to go.

Beverage of the night is gin, elderflower liqueur, soda water, muddled blackberries, garnished with a few sage leaves. No, not a typical night... lol

Generally not my favorites, but the local liquor store decided to bring in several different Glenmorangies that I haven't tried before. So far the Nectar D'or is claiming the spot as my favorite Glenmorangie

found something ive been looking for for a while, longrow peated. saw it advertised somewhere and thought it sounded good, but couldnt find it locally. picked it up on a trip down to maryland, though. oh, yes, thats good. not as good as lagavulin, that remains my favorite, but this is very nice, well balanced.

also picked up a peated irish whiskey which was also pretty good, although i like the other better.
