did you know superstitious people believe that if an evil spirit sees a line they have to follow it to the end (they have some weird demonic OCD apparently)
the pentagram is supposed to trap evil spirits with a never ending line
when people sprinkle rice or salt around door ways, the entity supposedly has to count each grain before it enters
