Your paper plate analogy fails because in your analogy I'm required to turn around and look at the plate. Your plate analogy works for stars we see in the North, but I'm talking stars we see in the South, towards the "ice wall". They're the same stars looking "south" from Australia as they are from South America, when in your model I should be looking in completely opposite directions.

I'm just picking the easiest to type out the explanation. We'll get to the others if we can close this one, but there's lots of issues on why your explanation fails.

If you look at the FE map, Australia and South America are on opposite sides (time-zones) meaning when night time in SA and looking at the stars, it is daytime in Australia.
9-12 hours later when it becomes night time in Australia, the stars (attached to the dome) have rotated and are now above (looking south).
Does this explanation make sense now?

Don't blame me for your poor communication.

Is the dome a complete sphere around the flat Earth? Because otherwise we would see the exact same sky in both locations at the same time of night.

If the Earth is stationary and therefore if the Coriolis Effect doesn't exist, then how do you explain the fact that toilets in the northern and southern latitudes flush in opposite directions? And why do hurricanes in the north and south spin in opposite directions?

And leave your speculations at the door, you're going to need some facts backed by research. Bonus point if this research was conducted by someone older than 8 years old.
