sugar doesnt make you fat. brown fat is very health for you as well. its visceral fat youd be inferring.

sugar can be instantly utilized by the body unlike high fructose corn syrup; that gets converted to fat instead because it requires depleting the bodies minerals to render the energy useable first.

many body builders sugar load and stay trim. its also common before body building contests to pop out the veins.

imagine having an iq like jesus and scoffing at the hive mind.

Sugar absolutely makes you fat but only if you overconsume it and are sedentary

I don't eat alot of sugar but I eat some, and usually it's purpose-driven - for a 3 hour gym session, I often feel a bit fatigued/low blood sugar and so I keep chocolates or rice krispy squares in my bag for a little pick me up. I'll have a pop on occasion but only on occasion, I just feel sick if I drink something like a whole can

Sugar should be viewed as quick energy - if you consume sugar but aren't quickly utilizing that energy, the body stores & retains the potential energy as fat. Getting fat at the simplest level is an overconsumption of energy (eating too much sugar/carbs mainly but also fat or whatever) and an underspenditure of energy (lack of exercise)

High fructose corn syrup is just sugar, mainly in the monosaccharide forms of glucose and fructose. Monosaccharides are even quicker energy than disaccharides or oligosaccharides so that's if you really want quick energy

I am a duathlon amateur athlete.

I can reasonably infer you are a fat shame projecting gmo weeding smoking genius who is swimming in doritos outside your dorm room.

carry on with your epiphanies. you are extremely helpful and non toxic.

Self projection, fatty.

if you think all sugar is the same and gets metabolized the same, you are grossly uneducated in the issue.

this is like saying everything is a calorie that can be chewed including empty calories. its simple lack of education unfortunately

i encourage you hive minders to educate yourself on the specific nature of what i'm infering:

It's generally true that all sugar is metabolized the same - what the body does it is has a ton of enzymes that convert all manners of different monosaccharides into the principal monosaccharide (glucose) which is then metabolized by the body. Everything gets first chopped up and then rearranged into glucose. Now you can argue that the process of converting all the sugars into the mono glucose form is inefficient instead of just consuming pure glucose, which is correct, but the body is basically a big processor for converts all manners of carbohydrate into just glucose. This process of conversion could cause inflammation if you consume too much

Now I'm not a true certified expert in sugar biochemistry but I studied under a sugar biochemist professor for over 2 years so I'm more educated than most and I've forgot alot of stuff

I agree that "calorie" is misused everywhere. A calorie is simply a unit of energy but it's not clear whether that energy is bioavailable or not (alcohol is often called "empty calories" because the ethanol isn't actually metabolized for energy, it's metabolized as a toxin down to acetic acid which is the basic building block of fat meaning = you drink alcohol you're drinking straight fat, no energy is used)

You would like my old professor because he is a great Christian farmer man who is like us, very opposed to the covid 'vaccines', and is extremely educated on all this stuff

corn syrup is more like ethanol forcing fat storage before it can be used, which means youre either in desperate need to replenish your bodies reserves or your 247 forcing fat storage

i drink mexican coke because its sugar and can be metabolized by my gut and blood before its forced into fat, aslong as it hasnt exceeded the 2k range:

so while all these forms can be bad, one will force glycogen and fat storage, the other can be used for the calorie burning process immediately instead.
this is why i encourage sugar(mexican coke) over fructose(modern coke).

fresh fruit is the better option because its natural fructose. but i'm also an athlete so i like to mitigate the differential. the world's top marathon athletes were big on carb loading from pizza, not fresh fruit for a reason.

tldr he mentions coffee in there as energy enjoy the revelation.
