Yes, have slept with a fan since I've been a child so it's a crutch.

if you get a boom box with batteries you can set it to a channel with static for white noise. a computer also has youtube channels with white noise (there are even channels with fan sound) but you need an additional power source.

Not the same, i use the breeze to to sleep as well.
I like kicking a leg out and feeling the air hit it or being super warm in my covers and my face getting a breeze.

I use a fan during warmer months. During winter I have a rain sound app on my phone that does the trick.

Fan no matter what gang.
It can be -35 outside, still got that fan on high.

I think I have a pretty moderate case of misophonia.
I wear closed back head sets as well at work/home, and drown out as much of the subtle sounds of things because I don't like them.
I have ear plugs to sleep too, but most the time the fan does the trick.
Examples of this are slurping, heavy breathing of people, and other mouth noises.
Or repetitive over and over small noises drive me nuts.
I was told these are "normal" sounds.
I do not believe they are "normal" and they trigger the absolute fuck out of me as soon as i notice a pattern.

I found a new one about 2 years ago, my fiance would eat cereal out of a glass bowl with a metal spoon ofc.
The repetitive sound of lifting the spoon clanking then setting the spoon down over and over till it was done caused me to wonder if she was just doing it to piss me off.
We have plastic cereal bowls now.

I found a similar one years ago. One of my roommates at the time would click her spoon/fork/chopsticks on her teeth with every bite. I quickly got into the habit of eating in my bedroom lol
