why would anything want to live forever, experiencing itself, knowing everything being omnipotent in a timeless world sounds incredibly lonely to me. even with a partner i personality would want it to end at some point, by choice.
i think its your selfishness that guides you thinking that someone could come and take care of all your problems(not you) but chooses not to.
