We in the Netherlands pay tax instead

There is also such thing as charitable acts. As a vegan I'm compelled to advocate for animals when I can so instead of killing insects in your house you could relocate them. That is just one example of making a REAL difference. Maybe not on a human scale, but for that "bug", that's life and death.

earlier this year my cat caught a little baby mouse it was so cute and my cat was gunna torture it for a while and then kill it and eat it
it gave me the saddest look so i grabbed the cat and put her outside trying to save the poor things life
like 3 weeks later i had a major mouse problem in my house the little fucks were living in the ceiling and keeping me awake at night so i had to buy some traps and killed like 10 of them and finally got rid of them
so now i just let the cat kill what ever it wants i dont really agree with the torture thing but i guess thats just nature
as for bugs they are cool unless they crawl on me directly or fly into my face in which case they will die a quick death

We can't expect a cat to change it's nature but I can change mine! As for cretures that carry diesese or is hostile, they have to go... Recently I've been vexed with killing mosquitos and similar things instead of using repellent. Then I concluded that it's better to kill a few of them than to poison myself with chemicals to keep them away. Being truly vegan is very challenging....

I do not donate money as I know the funds will not likely be appropriated properly. I have, however, donated my time on many occasions such as helping to build free houses for some very poor families in Mexico.

I volunteer there as well when I have some free time, the pool shut down this last week and we had dog day @ the pool before they drained the water.
We donate treats and dog food as well.
