If I'm going to eat a hotdog, I prefer it to come from a Coney Island in Michigan. If I'm camping or something I will do Kogel Hotdogs on the campfire with ketchup and no bun.

it's not exactly a chili dog it just looks like one. Taste so much better. Here's the recipe the the "chili". The original Flint Coney Island recipe is top secret, but this is basically it.

Alright i'll be honest, i've never ACTUALLY had a chicago dog.
But those thicc slices of tomatoes just don't sit right with me. I wish they would be like diced or something.

Edit : They might seem like different names for the same style of hot dog, but Coney Island dogs are smothered with a meat sauce that's not exactly chili—plus onions and yellow mustard. Chili dogs can be topped with meat and bean chili as well as cheese or cheese sauce.
